Celebration of International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy at SSMU

International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy, celebrated on April 24, was held at the Public Support Headquarters of the Saratov Region. Students from Saratov Medical University were invited to take part in it. The event was dedicated to intercultural interaction between the peoples of Russia and Africa. This is a great way to learn and to speak about the traditions and cultures of both countries. The girls held a master class on African braiding and showed elements of traditional dances.

Foreign medical students also took part in the All-Russian round table on the development of international cooperation, which was organized by the Public Support Headquarters.

“Such meetings are of great importance for strengthening friendship and building positive relationships between the peoples of Russia and Africa. It is especially valuable that the main participants in such events are young people and teenagers, who we can rely on for prosperous future. Getting to know the cultures, discovering common features, establishing personal friendly contacts are strategic and prioritizing steps to develop effective international relations at all levels,” said Andrey Eremin, the rector of Saratov Medical University.
